Have you been experiencing stress, anxiety, chronic pain, confusion or grief?

Do you suffer from an anxiety, depressive, or eating disorder, substance abuse, or stress/anger related issues?

Neurographic Art Therapy was developed in 2014 by Russian Psychologist, Dr. Pavel Piscarev. Neurographica (mind-drawings) is a meditative way to connect the conscious and subconscious mind by drawing freeform lines and then using a special algorithm to transform the doodle into beautiful works of art.

The Neurographic art method is based on the practice of drawing, coupled with the intention of the one who is creating the picture in order to express their feelings and emotions through the drawing. This art therapy method can help you identify unhealthy patterns or hidden obstacles within yourself, and then find organic ways to release/break those patterns and roadblocks, all while initiating positive life changes.

Neurographic Art can also be used as a form of meditation for self-exploration. expressing emotions, and creating manifestations through positive intention.

gouache bootcamp

Instructor: Tena Collyer

Discover the art of the very underrated gouache medium in this 5 week introductory course.

Often referred to as an ‘opaque watercolor’, gouache (pronounced: goo-aash) is a highly-pigmented, water-reactive medium that dries to a gorgeous velvety-matte sheen. Due to the strong, undiluted pigments, gouache produces a rich, vibrant, opaque color. Historically, gouache was predominantly used for graphic design and ad lay-ups in the (pre-digital) world of advertising .

Throughout this course, students will create several paintings as they garner a better understanding of this medium and all of its possibilities. The overall intent of this course is to teach you how to effectively work with gouache from beginning to end. Topics covered will include painting preparation, maintaining proper paint consistency, color mixing, use and care of materials, available substrate options and final presentation.
