This special Paint Night - ‘Harbor Days Celebration’ was developed with all skill levels in mind. Enjoy guided step-by-step instruction from the artists of Art Loft and create your very own Salty painting to enjoy the memories of Harbor Days and summer in Mattapoisett all year round.
Supplies are included, and a stencil of the seahorse will be provided, so there's NO stress - just fun!

EXPLORING STYLES - Watercolor Workshop
Instruction by: Lana Quann (The Wandering Brush)
Bring along your favorite morning beverage and enjoy a fun, relaxing and creative Sunday morning learning to paint florals in four different ways!
NO drawing skills are needed.
Lana will provide all of the materials needed along with some brunchy treats. All you need is your creativity!
Techniques and topics to be covered during this workshop include; line & wash, traditional layering & glazing, and the Impressionism and Expressionism painting styles. In addition, various substrate options will be explored, 90lb./140lb./300 lb. papers, cold vs. hot-pressed paper characteristics.

All Skill Levels Welcome
Meet artist Susan Darwin at her Fairhaven Town Center art exhibit, in beautiful Fairhaven Center (29 Center Street), and hear her talk about what inspired her latest series, The East Coast Paintings. Ask the artist questions about what inspired the huge lobster, the one-clawed blue crab, the sand shark, two conch shells, or the several land/seascapes of Newfoundland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and Florida. Then, venture the short distance to the Art Loft Studio (7 Water Street) for a creative workshop based on the exhibit using natural objects, photos, drawings and memory as reference.
The session is suitable for all-ages and includes drawing, painting and gluing with artist-grade materials. Each participant will be able to select an art card from the exhibit and will take home their unique archival piece of art that will last a lifetime… and then some.
Limited to 16 participants | Additional sessions will be added if needed.
Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
